Christmas cards + snowmen

This week we have been doing christmas cards and snowmen.We have been doing christmas cards and we have nearly done.We have been making the snowmen out of wool and not many people are finished but will be soon.On the snowmen we had to wind the wool around the card and at the end we cut them to make a football pom pom shape.We only have to put the ribbon and the hat on the christmas cards.

In P.E. we have been creating a dance routine on volcanos. Spurting out the volcano,flowing down the side of the volcano, Swaying around the rocks.

In Science, we have been working on circuits. We also made some switches from different materials.

In science we have been looking at electricity and circuits.We have been looking at broken circuits,circuits that work and dangerous cicuits.We have been drawing circuits that dont work and writing why they dont work.We have had a look at some programmes were you have to replace the bulb to a differant electric object such a motor,buzzer and a loud speaker and more items.

Pom pom snowmen

We started to make a pom pom snowman first Cameron,Brooke and Chole had to make balls of wool. Then we all had to cut out the middle of are circles. wind the wool around our cardboard circles then we kept rapping it around until we made up to 3 to 4 layers to make the body.

In literacy we are looking at biography`s and autobiography`s we have looked at David Becham`s, Martin Luther King and Queen Victoria`s. We are planning to write our own autobiography about our life.

P.E

On friday in P.E we was doing volcano dancing. First we had to work in pairs and make a sequence.Then we moved into groups of four and it had to be 2 boys and 2 girls.We had to put our movements together in to a sequence of four movements.Then we had to show it to the rest of the class and Mrs Baker picked four people to vote on how many points they should have.Then people who wasn`t voting had to comment on how well that group did.

In the morning we did maths, then we did literacy. After dinner we did topic work.
