The other day we did Rugby and we played a game that was like bulldog and not many people got caught but then there was more catchers and they still did’nt get many. Then I got to be a catcher and I caught 3 people and Brandon Caught 4.

The other day we had an award assembly. A load of people got awards and some people got star of the week. Mr Bate told us all about the year six school football team and Daniel Bristow is the only year five in the team.

In PE we were doing Gymnastics. Brandon ran ,jumped and then did a roll. At the start a of PE we learned two wake up shake ups Cartoon Heroes and It’s Raining me ,we all did pretty good and some of us got merits.

On Wednesday we practiced our handwriting with Mrs Stephenson, we learnt a easier way to do it ( Along the hallway and up the stairs).

In PE class 5st have been learning how to play rugby skills with Mrs Stephenson and we also played rip tag rugby, where we were put into teams of 5 or more and we had a player on each team to catch the tags around the persons waist.

In literacy 5st have been learning to arange a set of instructions, eg how to make Chocolate Crunch. There was some mistakes that we had to find a solve.

5st have been learning about the production of Wallace and Gromit. 5st have made a village about Wallace and Gromit, 5st made different maps of Wallace and Gromit’s village and made ways to make a route to go to different places around the map and we are also learning about symbols to put on the map. That is what we did on Friday

We were taught imperative verbs, verbs, connectives and adverbials in literacy. And we had to write five sentences with imperative verbs. Also we have looked at recipies with powerful verbs and highlighted them. The recipies we have looked at are how to make a volcano, peppermint sweets and wax candles.
We have been making village map. We have made a class map of our own Wallic and Grommit village. Everyone had a go drawing a symbol for our own sketch map . We had to copy the big map and then we watched the film Wallice and Gromit, curse of the Were Rabbit .
