Football Tournement

On Tuesday 19th May some year 5’s and 6’s travelled to the Grimsby Istitute with Mrs Baker to play football in a football tournement. We enjoyed playing in this football tornement. Unfortunately, Scartho boys won for the boys and Yarbrough girls won for the girls. The Y5 boys came 4th. The Y5 girls came 6th. The Y6 girls also came 4th. The Y6 boys made it to the semi finals and won the semi finals and managed to grab a place in the final! The score came to 1-1 so they did penalty shoot-outs, then it came to 2-2 and –  at the last minute –  Scartho boys won the game by 1 penalty! :(  Which means that the Y6 boys came in 2nd. We would like to thank Mrs Baker for taking us to the football tournement. BYE! By the way Mrs S is off on holiday today!!!!!!!!!!!! Just in case you didn’t know!

This is last week’s blog because last week’s disappeared when we tried to upload some videos!

In ICT we have been learning how to use the camcorders. We had fun learning how to hold them properly without wobbling about! We found out how to zoom in and out and begin and end with a fade in and out. Then off we went and around the school to have a practise. Some of us filmed some lessons in school and others went outside to film. We filmed Mr Burgess PE lesson and ourselves playing on the new Trim Trail! We played some of the films back and they were not that good actually! But I’m sure we will improve. Once again we tried to upload our efforts – but once again we are stuck! Please help!!!
