An important message

On Wednesday we had some special visitors. They were from the fire services and told us all about safety at homw and how to prevent fires. We learnt not to ever haave candle sin our bedrooms! Keep a key near the front and back doos so you can get out quickly in a fire. We all had to go home and test our smaoke alarams because they are the best thing to save lives if there’s a fire. Some of us got a form beacuse ours don’t work and the fire service will put us some new ones in.

A scary visit!

This has been an exciting week in 5S! Firstly we visited the ICT and found out about planets using a database.  Another of our favourite lessons was art where we finished off our paintings to go on the display. Today (Friday) was most exciitng of all! Some archaeologists came to visit us! They told us some interesting facts abot Ancient Egypt and they brought some objects they had dug up in a tomb in Cairo! They gave us a task to research these objects. It was all going well until… they told us about the scary bit! W e have to complete our task and return the objects to be re-buried by the Egyptian govenment in 13 weeks or we will be under a curse! We will all dieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Better get on with it then!
