This week in 5S

This week in brain-boggling science we have learnt about our hearts and circulation. Virginia thinks Riece’s circulation went funny when he fell off his chair. We learnt that blood cells travel to the lungs for oxygen, then into the left heart chamber and from there are around the body where the oxygen is used up. Thehy then go into the right heart chamber and back to the lungs to collect more oxygen.

In design technology we have been drawing round templates and cutting them out. This was practising for our Christmas cards that we shall make next week.

In literacy we wrote fantastic instructions. These instructions were about magic shoes and building snowmen. We enjoyed perforning our instructions song, ‘Do as you’re told’ in assembly!

Literacy

This week in literacy we have been working on instructions. We watched an animation showing How to Make a Bottle Garden. The character was called Timothy Little Boots. He was a funny character with a squeaky voice! We made notes then wrote our own instructions. It was very amusing. We had great fun.

Some of us have parts in the Christmas play and others are in the choir. Full rehersals start next week.

On Friday afternoon we had this brilliant art lesson with fantastic paintings to observe so we could paint our own backgrounds. Jordan got paint on his nose the silly boy!
